What an absolute masterclass by the Bucs last night! 🏴☠️⚾️ Demolishing the White Sox 9-3 with a massive 18-hit offensive barrage is exactly how you open a road series. Bubba Chandler was completely dealing on the mound, racking up 8 strikeouts across 6 strong innings. Love to see it!

RAISE IT AGAIN! 🏴☠️ Absolutely thrilled that the Pirates just locked down their FOURTH consecutive series win! Bookending the series with two unbelievable 1-0 shutout wins against the Angels around that 6-1 loss is pure pitching brilliance when it mattered most. Let's keep it rolling!
-
Hot dog! Pirates survived on just a 1-0 score against the Angels and move to 2 games below .500! 🏴☠️ Pure pitching brilliance tonight after Jones and the bullpen completely shut them down. What an absolute nail-biter of a game, but we take those!
-
RAISE THE JOLLY ROGER! 🏴☠️ Absolutely thrilled and so incredibly relieved the Pittsburgh Pirates bounced back today to beat the Giants 5-2 and lock down the series win! After yesterday's extra-inning heartbreak, my nerves needed a stress-free win. Let's keep stacking them up!
-
Thrilled we raised the Jolly Roger last night, but my goodness, that was a stressful mess! 🫣 Incredible to walk it off 13-12, but letting a comfortable 12-7 lead completely evaporate in the 8th inning is just unacceptable. A win is a win, but the bullpen can’t do that.
-
Glad to see that Pirates clinched the series victory after a wonderful 5-4 score against Cardinals!
-
When I woke up, I was thrilled to see the Pirates get another win, scoring in the 12th against the Padres. Now we’ll see how the next two games play out — momentum’s in their hands.
-
Even my dad was right, despite the Pirates’ glorious victory against the Tigers with a score of 4-1, we were surprised that the game lasted only 2 hours, which was faster than we had anticipated. I told him that it was okay because I would get to witness it before I went offline for the night.
-
I was unaware that the Pirates tied the record for the most home runs hit in a single season, a feat they accomplished back in 2003.
-
I can’t even recall how long the delay lasted, but it was incredible to witness Pirates secure a 8-3 victory against the Red Sox. The series victory was an amazing and proud moment for me.
-
To @Pirates - welcome back!
-
Oh my goodness! Pirates absolutely annihilated the Mets today with a score of 9-0 before we even arrived tomorrow. I couldn’t resist telling my dad, “May the better team win,” and we shook hands in agreement.
-
I’m delighted to witness that the Pirates not only emerged victorious from the game with a score of 4-3 against the Brewers, but I firmly believe that this marks their second win in the last three games.
-
I’m delighted to inform you that the Pirates emerged victorious against the Reds, securing a 4-1 win in the game. It’s worth noting that the game was delayed for a couple of hours, if I recall correctly.
-
I’m delighted to witness the Pirates’ remarkable comeback in the tenth inning, securing a triumphant victory against the Diamondbacks with a final score of 3-2. Additionally, it seems that both teams have tied for the last spot on the Wild Card, although I acknowledge that the season is far from over, as we have approximately two months remaining.
-
I’m delighted to see the Pirates secure a remarkable victory, even though the final score was a close 8-7. This win comes as a welcome relief after our most humiliating loss last night.
-
First, I understand that it was just the first game of the doubleheader, but I was astounded that the Pirates managed to survive the 10th inning with a score of 5-3 against the Yankees. They now need just one more win to secure a sweep of the series for the day, before the final game tomorrow.
-
It was a peculiar coincidence when the Pirates discovered that their game against the Yankees had been postponed to the next day. That’s when we lost power and almost got stuck in the elevator. Additionally, I wasn’t aware that the rainy weather had affected Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas.
-
What a wonderful series victory for us with a 7-1 score against Guardians! I’m proud of @Pirates right now with their wonderful season so far, let’s do it!
-
@Pirates grab their 4th straight win, taking the first game of the doubleheader 7–1 over Cleveland. Strong pitching, steady bats, and a clean, controlled result that keeps the momentum rolling. Good tone heading into the second game.
-
@Pirates beat the Brewers 3–2 to sweep the doubleheader, and that’s exactly the kind of statement they needed. Two games, handled. Pressure on, answered. A sweep that actually feels like momentum instead of a one‑off win. If they keep stacking results like this, the record finally starts moving in the right direction.
-
Sad to see the @Pirates’ game today against the Brewers get postponed because of the inclement weather. Now it’s part of the doubleheader, and I just hope they sweep it and boost the record.
-
It’s about time Justin Verlander announced his upcoming retirement after this season — long career, legendary run, and it feels like the right moment for him to finally step away.
-
Very impressive — @Pirates destroyed the Nationals 11–5, and that honestly ended up being the best part of the day after how disappointing that whole FIFA fan zone situation was.
-
Incredible win for the @Pirates . They beat the Phillies 11–7 after dropping 5 early, then exploding for 8 runs right away. Massive comeback and a huge one for them.
-
It must’ve been brutal when the @Pirates added four insurance runs right after the delay to clinch a 9–4 win over the Reds.
-
At first I was confused why the @Pirates held a moment of silence for Venezuela before the game, and then it hit me — it was for the recent earthquake that struck the city. I hope everyone there is okay.
-
The @Pirates are 41–40 at the halfway mark this year. Last year they were 39–42. It’s not a huge jump, but it is a real improvement — a small step forward instead of backward.
-
That was a strong @Pirates win over the Mariners, 11–1 — their first big one since dropping 12 on the Athletics last week, if I’m remembering right. Good response game.
-
Yes, that was a wonderful win for the @Pirates, taking an 8–6 game to avoid the sweep against the Rockies. They needed that one, and it felt like a strong answer after the way the series started.
-
Whoa! The Giants absolutely crushed the Cubs! If I’m not mistaken, this victory allowed us to move up to the second place.
-
It’s great to see the @Pirates bounce back with a significant victory to secure the series against the Astros, despite their lackluster performance in the second game.
-
Pirates got their second run in the 8th, but it wasn’t enough. Blue Jays win again and take the series. We need to stop it tomorrow with a real win or I’m going to be furious.
-
It’s tough that the Pirates couldn’t keep the streak going after the Giants game, losing 5–2.
-
I was genuinely surprised by the Diamondbacks’ crushing victory over the Pirates with a score of 9-0 last night. I had predicted the opposite outcome, but I must admit that I was mistaken.
-
Brewers 5–0.
Pirates couldn’t find the swing today. -
I’m thrilled to witness Pirates’ victory in the series against Rays with a score of 6-3. The previous game was a long one, and I believe it was delayed for a few hours due to inclement weather conditions. #MLBThreads #LetsGoBucs #RaiseIt
-
To see Pirates win the game with a score of 5-1 against Rays was amazing, even I had to go bed that early because of the overtime that started earlier this morning. #MLBThreads #LetsGoBucs #RaiseIt
-
Despite the loss, that was a great game between Nationals & Pirates and they should be proud of each other for a great game just 18 games after the season opener.
-
Oh my goodness! We had a remarkable turnaround, going from Nationals leading the game 4-0 to a situation where the Pirates tied the game with a score of 4-4! It’s simply unbelievable!
-
I’m delighted to learn that the Pirates emerged victorious against the Nationals with a commanding 2-0 win. However, I was unaware that this was a four-game series. Therefore, it’s crucial for the Pirates to secure a win in the upcoming games to clinch the series victory.
-
What on earth happened, Pirates?! You had the game won, but the Cubs made a massive comeback and snatched the victory. This is simply unacceptable.
-
Nope, it isn’t the day when Pirates survived the 11th or 12th inning against Cubs with a score of 4-3 to keep the record very wonderful, but Penguins couldn’t get a win since they lost by the score of 6-3.

-
I’m delighted to see the Pirates move up to second place. However, I must admit that this is just a temporary position, as the standings could change tomorrow or even the next few days.
-
I’m delighted to witness the Pirates triumph over the Cubs with a commanding 2-0 victory. This remarkable win marks our seventh victory in the last nine games.
-
It’s disheartening to witness the Padres’ crushing victory over the Pirates in the final game of the series, mirroring our own triumph last night with a commanding 7-1 score.
-
It’s unbelievable to see Pirates on their 5th win in a row after a 8-1 score against Orioles. Make me so happy that they did it right now.
-
Hot dog! Pirates have won four games in a row, and it makes me so happy!
-
I must extend my congratulations to KG on his first victory with the Pirates. He achieved this feat by securing a 5-4 win against the Orioles, which means the team has now established a three-game winning streak.
-
I’m very, very happy that Pirates survived the 10th inning, I think, against Mets with a score of 4-3 to get their first win of the season. Respects to Mets for a wonderful series.
-
I was so happy when Pirates scored a run against Mets to make it 1-0 so far, but I can’t jump to conclusions just yet.
-
Dang! Not only did the Mets make an incredible comeback in the first 11 innings of the year, but they also managed to score 3-run home runs to defeat the Pirates for their second consecutive win. I have immense respect for all of them, as they scored a total of 6 runs in the extra innings alone.
-
What? O’Neil Cruz scored the fourth run for the Pirates after those unfortunate mistakes? That’s quite interesting!
-
No comments on the bottom 3rd inning, but like my coworker said... O'Neil Cruz should have common sense by using the sunglasses, then those botch mistakes wouldn't happen anyway.
-
At least I got to witness the new system in action when we thought O’Neil Cruz was given a walk, but the call was overturned, resulting in a strikeout. Remarkably, Brandon Lowe hit his second home run, bringing the score to 5-3 in favor of the Pirates. Therefore, I’m content with their performance in the third inning, as we desperately need a run to compensate for O’Neil Cruz’s two blunders.
-
Forgive me, but will Yohan Ramirez be considered better than Paul Skenes solely based on this game? When Skenes exited the game, the Mets fans gave him a standing ovation. Is that genuine appreciation, or were they merely being sarcastic due to the 5 runs? The bottom of the second inning was quite impressive for us.
-
Why did the umpire wear a coat when the weather was pleasant? O’Neil Cruz delivered a remarkable hit to kick off the first inning. Did you hear that? O’Neil Cruz had a haircut? Is that right? It made me chuckle when Brandon Lowe surprised everyone by hitting the first home run of the season, putting the Pirates ahead 2-0. Kudos to the Mets pitcher who effectively struck out three consecutive Pirates players to end the inning.
-
I think it’s funny that my dad is very thrilled to have Pirates vs Mets this Thursday on TV as part of the season opener.
-
It’s absolutely appalling to witness the Braves’ devastating performance against the Pirates, even on my birthday weekend. #MLBThreads #CheersTo37Soon
