This phone has had the same #miui account for years though, not sure if that is a factor

More info: I used this tool which queries official mi unlock servers
and not the #EDL exploithttps://github.com/offici5l/MiUnlockTool
the last time this account did an unlock was in 2023(took 2 weeks that time) so this unlock took no delay
