I wish I could tell my Fedi client to show me all posts related to #Minecraft by just linking to the semantic representation of the game. Taking a moment to add some details. My happy ghast has a home (though rather cramped) in order to ease mounting and dismounting. I do feel like there is too much white in this area and espeically from this angle. However, I like both the large base and the entrance to the nether as they are. I think this angle just needs to block out some of the white while you are riding the minecart track I am currently standing on.

More building work completed today. Not too much progress on tackling the End, but it will come soon enough. Have some terriforming ideas that need doing in order to start to bring some of the area together.
But other times, it's just good to pause at a sunset and take in what is done.

A simple day today, just adding some berry bushes in a small fenced in area. The other hope is that this cuts down on spawns over one this side of the river. Hoping to extend this field across the whole southern part of this area. It can be seen from the main base I've been working on.

Work on the larger base is coming along smoothly. The main entrance and one of the front facade's has been completed. Still the inside needs work and obviously the whole thing needs a roof.
In addition, my gear is reaching the desired enchantments for taking on the Ender Dragon. Not sure which one will get done first as I plan to beat the dragon as soon as I have all the gear enchanted.

Started work on the larger base. The goal is to continue working on this as I expand the farms in the other direction. Most of my materials have been used up at this point, so I'll have to go on a mining expedition again soon. Thankfully, this time, I'll have enchanted tools to make the process more productive.
I'm debating if the central quartz entrance should have a balcony to look out or just be a solid tower with some windows.

Started two builds: the quartz structure is for the nether portal. It's interesting to see how often I've had to go into the nether for XP. (Quartz mining right now is the easiest way to get XP.) Then I started a bridge and rail line to a nearby savannah village so that I can start trading.
This direction looks towards the better landscape and where my bigger base will end up being.

I started work on a larger base. The goal is for this one to be my main base for gearing up to defeat the #enderdragon. I like this new tiered style that I developed while working on the village.

Finally added an airlock to the village. I was just jumping over fences using carpets, but feel that this makes the whole thing feel more complete. The goal is to store all the trading goods here so that I can more easily trade with the villagers.

Update on the survival base. Built a butcher shop on the west side. Finished the blacksmith and forge. Moved the chickens out of town past the butcher to make room for a bridge to cross the river.
