Today I presented my working paper on "๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐จ'๐ '๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ-๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ด๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป' ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ" as a TILEC seminar at #Tilburg University. I argue that the objectives of digital regulation are often opposed to the incentives of regulatees and that, in those circumstances, #MetaRegulation is not the best regulatory approach. You can't expect poachers to police poaching.
