Auftritte gestern: #Nephylim - nicht so meins. Ich mag die Art des Gesangs nicht, die der Sänger hauptsächlich benutzt. Wenn ich das höre denke ich immer, das sollen Growls sein, die er einfach nicht kann (danke an #WithinTemptation damals für diese Assoziation).
#InVain haben mir gefallen. Der Sänger kommt so richtig tief und trotzdem kraftvoll mit seiner Stimme, so soll das. Überhaupt empfand ich das als beeindruckenden Range, den er hatte. Und dass hin und wieder Gitarristen und Bassist mit einsteigen, resultierte in schönen Harmonien. -

First act: NAILS
I didn't know them, wiki says they play, Grindcore, powerviolence, crust punk hardcore punk and yeah, that fits.
It was 30 minutes straight forward intense metal with the singer occasionally shouting "Slayer" in between songs.
Although I am sure he shouted something else (slay it?), but my brain told me it was "Slayer" and I was ok with that.I'd like to see them on a smaller stage in a club setting to really get the dense atmosphere their sound needs.
But they were alright, they nailed it.
The venue, by the way, sucks ass.

Zweite Hälfte rum, ink Zugabe. War wieder sehr geil. Setlist vor allem Klassiker, inkl einem Song den ich nicht kannte 😱😱😱. Highlights:
- Out There
- Skydivers (whooo)
- Black Paper Planes (natürlich)
- Metulsky II (NATÜRLICH)Von der Eraser "leider nur" Eraser - ich find die Platte sehr geil, aber von allen geilen Songs ist Eraser selbst der ungeilste. Shark Song hätte ich mir gewünscht.

So apparently 1914 are having a hard time selling tickets to their shows across Europe.
I don't understand why, their stuff is fantastic, so if you're into Death and/black Metal, this is a band to know.Go see them live!

Alter Bridge waren gestern überwältigend! 😍
Der Abend hat begonnen mit den Vorbands Sevendust (nicht mein Ding, schlimmer Sound) und Daughtry (eigentlich auch nicht so sehr meins, aber deutlich besserer Sound).
Die Veranstaltung war leider im Zenith in München und da ist die Akustik bekanntlich übel. Ich hatte schon Sorge, dass mir das auch Alter Bridge versauen würde, aber es ist besser geworden. Platzmäßig war's auch nicht ideal. Sehr voll. Aber hey - ich habe Myles Kennedy und den Rest der Band immerhin ab und zu durchblitzen sehen ;)
Ganz toll fand ich den Gesang von Kennedy und Tremonti 😍. Wirklich live sehenswert!
