#Meshy, an AI-powered #3Dcreation platform, raised $400 million at a $1.5 billion valuation. The platform, founded by Ethan Hu, aims to revolutionise #3D asset creation by reducing the process from weeks to minutes and costing roughly $1 per model. Meshy differentiates itself by focusing on watertight, manufacturable geometry, with a 97% slicer success rate for #3Dprinting. https://techfundingnews.com/from-mit-research-to-1-5b-unicorn-ethan-hus-meshy-raises-400m-for-ai-powered-3d-creation/

The Repeat Mode support in #Meshy got important fixes that make it fully compatible with the official client.
To make it clear that the mode is turned on, there is newly an indicator in the Device Info.
It will be available in 26.08 or you can get it in the development version right away.

If you like #Meshy, please click the star to become our stargazer on :codeberg: #Codeberg: https://codeberg.org/sesivany/meshy/stars
Some repositories, such as #Homebrew, require a certain number of stars to qualify for inclusion. These numbers are set according to :github: GitHub standards, which has many more users, including bots that star projects.

Peak #MySoCalledSudoLife today:
📡 I set up my first #MeshCore repeater (and it's working splendidly)
🧱 I created a custom-built case for it with LEGO (see: https://mastodon.social/@_elena/116912226996146067)
👩💻 I installed #HomeBrew on my Macbook Air this morning and I'm currently installing #Meshy
🙌 endless gratitude towards my Mesh guide @stereo who has the patience of a zen master and helped me through all this #GratefulForYou

RE: https://mastodon.social/@hbons/116869094337126884
#Meshy finally has a proper SVG icon and a new visual identity thanks to Hylke!
We don't collect contributions, but if you'd like to donate to our cause, please consider sponsoring Hylke, so that he can continue to provide free design services to open source projects like he did for Meshy:

The development of #Meshy 26.08 has begun. #MeshCore has no moderation server-side, so it's important to have something client-side.
Meshy now allows you to list all participants for each channel and block them and delete their messages.
It doesn't save the airtime from spammers and abusers, but at least you won't have to read their messages.

🎉 #Meshy 26.07 is out: https://codeberg.org/sesivany/meshy/releases/tag/26.07
The release brings lots of fixes and improvements, but the biggest feature is smart routing. Currently, you have to enable it in the contact details for each contact, but it's definitely worth trying out.
You can find out exactly how it works in the new user docs:

If you'd like to translate #Meshy into your language, now is a good time. 26.07 will be released soon and there will be no string changes until then.
https://translate.codeberg.org/projects/meshy/
Bug reports are also welcome. 😉

Another milestone for #Meshy! It has been accepted to #Flathub:
https://flathub.org/en/apps/page.codeberg.sesivany.MeshyThe only difference between Meshy from Flathub and our own Flatpak repository is that: Meshy from our repository has permission to execute commands on the host in order to install an udev rule for connecting to USB devices. This had to be restricted for Flathub. Users have to set it up manually.
We'll keep providing stable releases in our repo, so you'll have a choice.

In order to make this work, #Meshy now keeps a record of the most successful paths for each contact. If a message is delivered successfully, the path receives plus points, if it fails, it gets minus points. If the score falls below zero, the path is removed from the list, meaning that the list is updated over time.

Would you like to try #Meshy on #macOS? @RezzaBuh is working on a port. It is still WIP, but already usable. You can find installation instructions here: https://codeberg.org/jreznik/homebrew-meshy

#Meshy 26.06, the first stable version, has been released! 🎉
Stable releases should be on monthly basis. Versioning has been simplified: YY.MM for stable releases and YY.MM.DD for development releases.
The stable branch is now the primary branch in the flatpak repo, but you can still install the development version built from the latest code.
This release is dedicated to @an0key, who fell five floors while attempting to fix his #MeshCore antennas. Get well soon!

After spending several months working on #Meshy I have one interesting statistic to share.

It's also good time to wrap up translations if you'd like to have #Meshy translated in your language. At the moment it's completely or mostly translated into Czech, Dutch, Spanish, and French:
