Now I went to the Estacion de la Plancha in Merida to check out the bus service to #MeridaTeya #TrenMaya station. Now with ten irregular departures a day, it's better than nothing. But it's not enough to make it easy and ready to use...

Now #MeridaTeya station left quite an impression. Similar design features to the others, but this station is actually being used. Cafés, shops, a #TrenMaya souvenir shop, busy waiting areas. Again mostly locals, so one cannot say this is a tourist only project.

Arriving at #MeridaTeya station at 12:07 with three minutes delay, probably linked to a longer than expected stop in Chichen Itza. You notice the novelty factor as people take pictures on the platform at every station, and in #Merida you even have a photo background. A short version of the rolling stock with four cars was on another platform.
