Just found out about this recent book by Sean Mathews. It is a "travel-writing" book where the author explores the on-the-ground culture of the remaining Greek communities in Cairo, Istanbul, and Jerusalem.

He meets the last Greek merchants in Cairo, and hears from Istanbul's remaining Greeks about Turkey's break with the West.
