The Real Wolf of Wall Street (TV): I love that some of the stories are like “yeah it was actually worse than what was in the movie”
Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea (Movie): Somehow they keep releasing bleaker and bleaker cruise documentaries (this isn’t a complaint)
Underrated (Podcast): A great show (from a friend of a friend) that focuses on underrated movies
The Dink (Movie): Dumb and fine, had some moments
Masters of The Universe (Movie): Pretty rough, not gonna lie (and my He-Man roots go deep)

Backrooms (Movie): So wildly creative, and the “other” pirate was legit terrifying
Yesteryear (Book): Was a big fan!
House of the Dragon (TV): Glad it’s back, and what a season opener!
The Bear (TV): The series had its ups and downs, but this final run of episodes was a real return to what made me love it in the first place
Gary (TV Movie): Speaking of The Bear, this was a heartbreaking and fantastic standalone episode
Dr. Death (Podcast): This season it’s shenanigans with cowboy boots on
Alice and Steve (TV): This was painfully awkward in the most delightful ways
Michael (Movie): Obviously (rightfully) mired in controversy, but not bad as a biopic, and the lead performance was kind of astounding
Michael Jackson: The Verdict (TV): The film should of course be paired with this sober look at all of the very credible allegations
Predator: Badlands (Movie): I was unforgivably late to seeing this, but it was really solid
The Four Seasons (TV): Loved the new season, and this show really hits when you’re approaching fifty
The Vampire Lestat (TV): So over the top, so here for it

Mortal Kombat (2021 Movie): I went all-in this month on the Mortal Kombat cinematic universe in anticipation of the sequel, and this one (which I’d seen once before when HBO streamed everything during COVID) was fine, if generally forgettable
Mortal Kombat (1995 Movie): I hadn’t seen the original probably since the ’90s, and it’s appropriately goofy/entertaining

Shadow of The Vampire (Movie): …this (which I’d seen with my wife when it first came out eons ago) is fully off the rails…
Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Movie): …and this one (which I hadn’t seen in decades either) should’ve resulted in Keanu serving time for that accent

Skeleton Crew (TV): Loving the Goonies energy
Jesus Christ Superstar (Movie): Another one I hadn’t seen in ages, check the podcast for our group takes
Superstars: The Documentary (Movie): I then obviously had to watch the documentary, which looked to have had a budget of (generously) fifty bucks

No Good Deed (TV): Still early on with this, but it has my attention

Doctor Who: Joy to The World (TV): Felt just average, but the hotel lady’s performance took it up a notch (I wish she’d become a companion!)
Red One (Movie): The less said about this, the better, though you have to respect J.K. Simmons clearly only agreeing to do it for the scene in which he gets to lift weights/flex his unnecessary guns as Santa
