The beautiful island of #Malta is where I am taking you today. I first visited this island in 2019 when all I was looking for was one week of relaxing sunshine, lounging by the pool reading a good book (or two) and eating lots.
Since then I have been back three more times and it is quickly turning into my goto mid summer holiday destination for a week of sun and relaxation.
Of course one or two of the days are spent exploring and I have visited the capital #Valletta a few times, ventured inland to the walled city of #Mdina and drifted around the coastal areas of the #BlueGrotto.
I have not yet visited the little island of #Gozo but that is on the list for next time.
If you live in the #UK and want an easy island escape that feels quite a bit like home (they drive on the same side) and has a historic past then I highly recommend Malta.
