No sooner did I check in at the doctor's office this morning when their PA played "Last Christmas." And here I thought it was my regular visits to into Starbucks that would knock me out of #Whamageddon" and #MariahPocalypse.

i don’t own a car and my radio is dead, so am not easily exposed to the aural violence of #whamageddon. i also shop mostly in small businesses, so they usually won’t be blaring corporate Xmas music crap on repeat.

this is also NYC and you’re most likely be hit by the #mariahpocalypse at any time of the year, so there’s that too.
