🤝🏽 Today marked the official kickoff of New Biz Malden, a free 12‑week entrepreneurship program hosted by The Immigrant Learning Center in partnership with MassHire Metro North Workforce Board, the City of #Malden, and the Malden Chamber of Commerce. Our first session — the Meet & Greet — set the tone for an inspiring journey ahead.
🗣️ I met my mentee, Bethuva, originally from #Haiti. We had a great introductory conversation about our career paths, our families, and our shared commitment to achieving financial independence. I’m excited to support him as he develops his business idea and prepares his final pitch.
🌎 The room was filled with a diverse group of mentees and mentors, each bringing unique experiences, cultures, and entrepreneurial dreams. It’s clear that we’re not just learning business fundamentals — we’re learning from one another and strengthening Malden’s small‑ #business ecosystem together.
