I started developing and deploying my bots on #Mastodon since over a year ago now bcos I wanted my regular news feeds to be on Mastodon since they weren’t here.

The idea has always been for me to continue doing so until perhaps one day I get contacted by them so that they could take over the account and post their content by themselves.

That hasn’t happened for any of them just yet, but after a week+ of adding support to #Bluesky, I’ve already been contacted by one (#Malaysiakini). Now I’m just hoping it is what I think it is, and not a threat to sue me or something :))

not me emailing the #malaysiakini support team to ask if i can switch my monthly subscription to annual (because i can't do it from my profile panel. but i can cancel the current one, and then restart the subscription process again, but that means... if i don't time it right I won't get a prorated amount, also I have to find my credit card for online purchases), only for them to reply...
