  4. Thomas Risse came to Exeter to introduce this book a couple of weeks ago. Great sessions and a very generous guy. In my comments I made the slightly provocative claim that this is the first empirical proof of anarchism - by non-anarchists. He laughed nervously. There are gaps (e.g., class, global north), but this is well worth a read for anyone interested in #MajorityWorld #irtheory #anthropologyofthestate #development and #anarchism I’ll write a review next year.
