¿Cómo sería El Quijote hoy en día?En un barrio de La Mancha, del cual prefiero no tener ni el location activado, vivía un chaval que estaba totalmente delulu.
No era de la generación Z, pero intentaba ser main character a toda costa, aunque le faltaba bastante street cred.Se pasaba el día scrolleando hilos de hilos sobre el medievo, hasta que se le quemó el cerebro y pensó que era un guerrero aesthetic en pleno 2026.
Se puso un outfit de second hand que no pegaba ni con cola, se pilló una bici vieja porque no le daba para más y se lanzó a la calle a buscar engagement a base de hostias.Tenía un crush, la Dulcinea, una tía que básicamente ni le seguía el follow back.
Él se montaba unas películas en su cabeza brutales, pensaba que ella era la reina del feed, pero ella ni le daba like a sus historias; le hacía un ghosting sideral que no veas.Y luego el Sancho, su mejor amigo, un tío que solo quería ir a por unas birras y no meterse en líos.
Pero el loco de Alonso lo arrastraba a todas sus movidas.
Veía los molinos de viento del parque eólico y, como estaba tan flasheado, se ponía a subir hilos insultándolos, diciendo que eran bots de una IA intentando funarle.
Cada vez que intentaba hacerse el valiente, acababa en el suelo, con el móvil roto y el ego por los suelos.Literalmente, el tío era el mayor cringe del pueblo, pero oye, al menos no se aburría en su propia película.

#maincharactersyndrome has always been an interesting phenomenon to me.
I see where they go wrong, really.
We are all the #maincharacter in our own #story as we are locked in #firstperson and can't really change that.
It's our only reality, and that's okay.
We should do things to protect ourselves, and keep #writing a story we think is interesting.
#narcissism takes it a step too far, and assumes their story is the most important one, and worth ruining other ones for.
