Isn't it weird how there is never enough money to fix the NHS, fix potholes, fix social care, or properly regulate the energy industry, but there is always enough money for performative cruelty to foreigners?

#Starmer can pay for it using the £2bn that Yvette Cooper is going to claw back from the #Covid fraud debacle. Either that, or use the #MagicMoneyTree that we were told doesn't exist but enabled the #Tories to fritter away billions on unwanted and useless #PPE equipment. -

Also, #bailouts themselves allow and cause huge #wealthDisparaities that fuel extreme waste and yet they, the #Keynesians quietly demand that 3% #magicNumber of #growth in #consumption each year.
The #MagicMoneyTree'ers are the reason we are in this mess. They created a wasteful #VietnamWar and told the world in 1971, "you'll take our pretty paper promises". Look at any #socialProgress graph since the 70s. Its basically all bad news.
