I've managed to get tickets for #BrightonRuby @brightonruby which is exciting! Heard a lot about it, and it'll be my first time going to a proper #ruby conference.

...as opposed to the London Ruby User Group which is like a monthly mini-conference. Speaking of which, I've also just signed up for #LRUG @lrug happening this coming Monday.

I know both the speakers from two different non-ruby-related past lives. Clearly the logical extrapolation of this is that I know most people in London.

Naturally, 36 hours before I leave for #OggCamp and #LRUG is the best time to realise this.

Why YES I am desperately trying to get ActivityPub integration working properly so that I have something to talk about that WORKS at #OggCamp and #LRUG this weekend, why do you ask?

I will be talking about #ActivityPub, #Federails, @manyfold and fighting #Enshittification at #OggCamp on Sunday 13th October in Manchester, then doing the same the night after at #LRUG!

I'm looking forward to both! But I'd better get my code written and become some sort of expert, quick!

Full house at @lrug tonight. It's my first in- person #lrug since the before times. I really enjoyed catching up with some old friends.

Sad that @lrug is cancelled this evening due to the weather, but also happy that I don't have to go out into the aforementioned weather.
