Clare is author of 'Women Who Flew for Hitler', a dual biography of Nazi Germany's most highly decorated female pilots: Hanna Reitsch and Melitta von Stauffenberg. Both talented, courageous, attractive, headstrong, highly decorated. However, they could not have been more different: Hannah deeply dedicated to Hitler, Melitta supportet the plot to assasinate him.
