The two hydrangea photos use an iPhone 17 to create a 3D effect by taking a Live Photo of wind blown flowers and using the bounce effect. Unfortunately sometimes the shot will show the subject moving against the background for a gorgeous 3D effect, and sometimes the phone will hold the subject steady and move the background—which is plain weird. Does anyone know what technique is necessary to create the desirable effect? Theories?

WhatsApp ożywa dzięki Live Photos. Nowa aktualizacja to też funkcje AI i ułatwione wyszukiwanie

Meta oficjalnie potwierdziła wprowadzenie pakietu nowości do komunikatora WhatsApp. Najważniejszą z nich, szczególnie dla użytkowników iPhone’ów, jest wsparcie dla „żywych” zdjęć, czyli Live Photos.

Aktualizacja, która jest udostępniana stopniowo, zawiera również inne usprawnienia, w tym funkcje oparte na sztucznej inteligencji.

Ruchome zdjęcia i ułatwienia w aplikacji

Główną nowością jest obsługa Live Photos (iOS) oraz Motion Photos (Android). Po wysłaniu lub odebraniu takiego zdjęcia, będzie ono przez chwilę animowane, a po dotknięciu ikony w rogu odtworzy również zarejestrowany dźwięk.

Wśród praktycznych ulepszeń warto wymienić ułatwione wyszukiwanie grup – teraz można je znaleźć, wpisując imię jednego z członków. Ponadto, użytkownicy Androida otrzymali funkcję skanowania dokumentów bezpośrednio w aplikacji, która do tej pory była dostępna tylko na iPhonie.

Nowości z Meta AI – nie dla wszystkich

Meta wprowadza także funkcje oparte na własnej sztucznej inteligencji. Użytkownicy będą mogli generować niestandardowe motywy czatów oraz tła do rozmów wideo za pomocą poleceń tekstowych.

Należy jednak podkreślić, że dostępność funkcji Meta AI jest bardzo ograniczona. Zazwyczaj są one wprowadzane w pierwszej kolejności w Stanach Zjednoczonych i w języku angielskim, więc polscy użytkownicy najprawdopodobniej będą musieli na nie poczekać znacznie dłużej.

Wszystkie funkcje są wdrażane po stronie serwera, co oznacza, że mogą pojawiać się u kolejnych użytkowników w różnym czasie, nawet jeśli posiadają najnowszą wersję aplikacji. Warto więc regularnie sprawdzać swój komunikator w poszukiwaniu nowości.
