So, I read the three "Three Body Problem" books (there's probably a word for three consecutive linked works of art ... Matrix Resurrections).
The last book is definitely the best for story and storytelling (and the translator deserves an honourable mention (but I won't)).
However, I'm going to recommend that if you are not sure that it's worth reading any of them then you should read the very last part of the third book "Death's End". It's short-story-essay length. Doing that won't spoil your enjoyment of the series but it may even make you smile.

Wat zegt Chinese sciencefiction over de Chinese samenleving? Podcast van het @nrc_nl over oa Liu Cixins "Drielichamenprobleem" en werk van Hao Jingfang en Chen Qiufan, en sinologe Tabitha Speelman die daar allerlei interessants en verstandigs over weet te zeggen.

New Read - Taking Care of God
One thing I like to do at the library is find a random, single volume manga and read it.
This was one such find.
Based on a Chinese short story of the same name by the author of The Three-Body Problem, this manga adaptation has aliens arriving on earth who are all elderly people. They were the forerunners of humanity and have lived thousands of years in space. The story follows a small town family that takes care of one, how the beings interact with humanity.
It was...choppy. It probably worked better as a short story.
Wasn't bad, but wouldn't read again.

Aslında dizileri de var, ama Çin dizisi sâdece ilk kitabı içeriyorken Netflix üç kitabın birden içine edip her şeyi bok etmişti!
Fakat bir şekilde Yun Tianming'in "He'ershingenmosiken Sabunlu Tekne" metaforundan haberi var!
Kitabın yazarının bu konularda oldukça bilgili olduğu yazıyordu.

Die Trisolaris-Trilogie ist schon ziemlich faszinierend. Habe aber aktuell nicht so Zeit, das dritte Buch zu lesen - aber das Hörspiel! Der WDR hat alle drei Bücher richtig gut umgesetzt:

Des dinosaures et des fourmis, de Liu Cixin
J'avais peut-être un peu trop d'attente pour ce titre. Le pitch était alléchant : une histoire racontant l'émergence d'une civilisation issue d'une symbiose entre dinosaures et fourmis. Alléchant, non ?
Dans les faits, c'est raconté de façon un peu plate et sans beaucoup d'originalité. Il s'agit, sans surprise, d'une métaphore pour parler de notre consumérisme et de notre rapport aux technologies.
