As I count down my favourite Tragically Hip songs on this July 4th, here is the story of one of their most "American" songs, "Little Bones" from the Road Apples album. Recorded in New Orleans, "Little Bones" is filled with U.S. cultural references. The driving force of the music was influenced by The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Happy July 4th to all who celebrate.
