    I don't think I'm going to have any success with that software. Seems to recognize the device, but ... i'm not sure it's talking to "home base" correctly, so to speak. Looks like Win XP styling in the software. haha.

    I haven't used anything like this in 20 years, which is when this particular item probably came out. 25 yrs this thing probably. haha. it's crazy though, you wouldn't be able to tell the diff (to a "real professionally mic and amp combo setup and properly tuned to its env, etc.") unless you have extraordinary natural abilities of your auditory senses, which some people do possess of course.

    EDIT: just found this, but... anyone know from experience?
