  6. I'm looking for an #NFC reader to use under #Fedora #Linux. Preferably without the need to manually install (proprietary) drivers.

    I saw this recommendation:

    reddit.com/r/nfctools/comments

    So some options are:
    ACR1252U
    HID OMNIKEY 5022CL

Do you have any experience or recommendations? I prefer #openhardware and #opensource over proprietary.

What is the difference between #libnfc and #PCSC?

My use case is to log in at the #Belastingdienst (@belastingdienst) with #DigiD.

  11. W00000000t.

After the fucking annoying and depressing bug hunt at work the previous days, I needed a success.

So I wrote a device driver in #libnfc for our company internal RFID card reader. Within one work day.

Yeaaaahh! That only goes to show, if I have something interesting to work on I can be very motivated!

(I mean, I still have some error handling to do, but all in all, it displays DESfire information already!)
