If I had to sum up the big difference between MAGA Republicans and Libertarians, it is that they both want the exact same cruelty and inhumanity, but they go about it differently.
A MAGA Republican would want a new law saying that being LGBTQ+ is illegal.
A Libertarian would argue that less government is better, and so any laws protecting LGBTQ+ people should not exist.
A MAGA Republican would want a law allowing them to have a child bride.
A Libertarian would want the law regarding the age of consent removed, once again arguing that less government is their goal.
One wants to add rules to impose upon people; the other wants to remove all safety and security, so harming people is not against the law. Or, to put it another way: one wants your government to seek you out, while the other wants your government to turn a blind eye.
When these two work together --- horrible things happen.

You all think MAGA is crazy? --- Let me tell you about Libertarians.
These people would privatize both roads and sidewalks, so that every time you take a step out your front door you'd be paying a toll. They're so pro-corporate that I once heard a debate where they were arguing the merits of charging people to breathe fresh air and drink water too.
Do you want to have no consent laws? These people are pro-rape, pro-incest, pro-child bride, and believe women are property. In fact, some of them believe you should have the right to "claim" a wife as you see fit. Can you imagine walking, minding your own business, and some random dude pronouncing he's claimed you, and now you're his? They're also very big on multiple wives and large families too.
Ethnic cleansing? Listen to a Libertarian telling you how we should have selective breeding programs and selective sterilization too. These people watched the movie "The Purge" and thought that was a good idea.
Their only debate regarding the LGBTQ+ community is whether there is more value in "reeducation" or putting them in gas chambers, which they argue would be the humane method.
Honestly, Libertarians make MAGA look like a kid-friendly version of Mickey Mouse on a Saturday-morning cartoon show by comparison.
Like MAGA, they all start out talking about less government and more freedoms, but it does not end there.
The last thing you want is those people gaining a foothold anywhere -- ever.
