First discovered in 1877, Diplodocus lived between 154-152 million years ago.
Its estimated to be up to 26 meters long making it one of the largest dinosaurs of its time
Due to wear patterns on its teeth its believed to feed using the strategy of unilateral branch stripping. This means that one row of teeth would strip the foliage while the second row would guide the food into its mouth.

The answer for #Guess that #Lego #Fossil is #Trierarchuncus, but I'll allow #Mononykus as well since theyre so similar.
Trierarchuncus is named after Captain Hook, of Peter Pan fame, because of the distinctive large claw on its hand.
Its believed that #Alvarezsaurids like Mononykus and Trierarchuncus were insectivores and filled the same niece as modern day anteaters. The large claw seems to have envolved to allow access into insect nests.
