I want to learn how to draw. I can draw diagrams and sketches from my background as a scientist, but that's a long way from drawing art.
I just don't know where to start. Does anyone have hints? I saw Draw a box, but I don't know if it's worth it. There are tons of YouTube playlists, but I don't know if they are any good.

Earlier this year I made a model for a little gadget that could help me with perspective drawing. It’s basically three sticks that show three right angles. I had a friend print it out for me in exchange for telling how to use it XD. Been using it pretty extensively myself, since and it fits well into my little pouch :).
