@DJ5CW Of course you are right! HC07S #hamchallenge @hamchallenge
Thanks to @DJ5CW for #lcwo, my CW advisor Lutz DM6EE, and my peers in the CW academy foundation class Jan/Feb '26 - now I am looking forward practising my #morse skills.

Yesterday was the first day, I successfully finished lesson 40/40 on #lcwo
Having been subscribed to the platform since 2008, it took me quite a while to finish the basic learning of #morse code.

Now let's keep on learning to get ready for more QSOs. -
Learn CW Online (https://lcwo.net/) is now also available in #Slovak 🇸🇰 language (the 34th interface language). Thanks to Matúš, OM8ATE for the translation! #hamradio #morsecode #lcwo

CW: Rant
You know what, it's a #HamRadio rant kind of day.
I get the feeling that learning code (and I'll be calling it "code" not "CW" since that's already an in-use term here) is going to be one of those things that falls into the "impossible because your genetics says fuck you" category.
I'll start with some other examples... well, two to get the point across.
- I cannot riffle shuffle cards. Like, I literally cannot, my hands are the wrong proportions.
- I cannot play any flight simulators with a yoke, it has to be throttle and stick. It's impossible for me to mentally separate out orthogonal actions to non-orthogonal movements, one will inevitably be paused while the other is in progress. Or in other words: since "roll" and "pitch" are not completely distinct movements, I cannot perform both at once. (It's also because I can't get both hands to coordinate actions, there's always a primay on which the secondary lags behind, but that's besides it)

#CW100days Is there a simple way to abandon an incomplete lesson in #lcwo?
I've been going up to the choose lesson menu and temporarily choosing a different lesson - that pulls you out of the currently running one, but it's not ideal. -

Though stats are not the goal, it is nice on #LCWO #LearnCWOnline to be able to see that you are, in fact, improving over time. #Morse #MorseCode ~ https//lcwo.net

…In addition to actual #Morse QSO’s with others on #VBand, the #radio, or #VailCW [https://vail.woozle.org/ ] (you can have a QSO & get ur fortune told in CW on Vail) - even practicing simulated QSO’s on the #HamMorseApp (or just listening to the various live streaming news feeds available there). #LCWO is just one of many ways to enjoy learning & improving depending on the day, the ability or lack thereof to get on the air, and how much time is available.
