When will CEO's realise that 'Number go up this Quarter' is not sustainable forever, and if you make 'Number go up' as a result of undermining customer trust AND trashing quality of long running (50 / 60 / 100 year old brands) - then you're basically just swapping short term goals for long term bankruptcy - or lets face it being purchased by Private Equity eventually which results in Bankruptcy anyway

#Hasbro and #Mattel both claim that they don't want to cater to mostly Adult collectors - whilst knowing that the 'Kidult' market is where most of their profit comes from.
Yet, when they cut corners and produce AI Slop or near garbage quality items and Adult collectors don't buy things then the CEO's complain that adults are too picky.
YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.
