Yesterday our Saturday market became a Sunday mini-market, as Saturday was the Veteran's Day parade. Just 3 blocks long, instead of our usual 6. It was chilly, but with glorious sunshine. When a customer is deciding whether to buy a piece, I suggest they take it into the sunshine. That usually clinches the sale. Something new that's definitely not blue. I used shades of opaque and transparent red, peach, topaz, mauve, and other shades of glass to make this 19 inch necklace. Most are barrel or tubular shaped, but I've also made 6 small beads I rolled in gold colored mica while hot. Something new in both my Etsy shop and Ko-fi shop. I used earth tones on these opaque beads, rolling them on a corrugated metal surface while they were red hot, creating the spiral surface texture.
