    Yesterday was my one year anniversary of using #Linux .

    I started out with #Windows Subsystem for Linux just to get used to the commands, file structure, etc. Then installed Linux Mint alongside the existing Windows10 OEM install - havent used Windows in months.

    There is some friction, but I much prefer it to being beholden to whatever nonsense #Microsoft keeps coming up with.

    It wouldn't be possible without Larry Finger (RIP), whose WiFi drivers make this post possible.

    Article even mentions NDISwrapper, which I was *VERY* and frustratingly familiar with during my first adventures of linux. And apparently he started submitting code in 2006 which is exactly when I was dipping out of that scene for the first time.
