John Lyons (Sp?) on ABC News24 just now explaining the impact of the latest ICC warrants tells viewers in answer to a question, ‘of course, the ICC doesn’t have a police force’ to enforce its rulings…. As we should all know, western judiciaries are meant to be independent of the legislative and law enforcement. That’s the way the separations of power systems work John! Less mansplaining and more informed, logical comments please!
I’m getting very critical of Newsreaders and reporters in my old age, I don’t know why. Am I being conditioned by the widespread mis-disinformation that we’re daily subjected to these days? Am I just taking more notice of language use (English in my case) because I read more and I write? Is this a common complaint or am I simply being pedantic?
