I gave that Lady Grey another pen. It really needs some more oumph to show properly. I liked it yesterday but today I'm thinking it's even better.

Couldn't help but put it next to earl grey just because of the names. I know Diamine has an earl grey but I don't have that. I have dominant industrys earl grey tea and since I keep my fave pen almost permanently with oranges it was an obvious pairing. Peach haze will have to sit one out.

#Today #3Things

1. My keel is more even today after our canine bereavement on Monday. I'm incredibly sad and missing him a lot but am thankful that he's no longer struggling or in pain, and doing my best to remember the good moments (of which there are many). #DogsOfMastodon

2. Wife is in Davao seeing her brother for a couple of days, as she does most months, while I look after our other dogs Max and Snowy. I think the change of scene will help her process her grief.

3. I am not a #tea drinker (aside from peppermint which I love but doesn't count). Much more of an #espresso addict. Today I tried #LadyGrey tea for the first time to see why people rave about it. Just black, no milk or sugar. Found it rather nice, with the extra citrus notes balancing out the #EarlGrey base. 8/10, will have again.

#Lavender Earl Grey - It had not occurred to me that my life was lacking lavender flavoured #BlackTea, but definitely worth a try. But what does Bergamotte do in it? And vice versa?

#Vanilla Earl Grey - #vanilla flavoured black tea can be lovely. But again: what does Bergamotte do in it? And vice versa?

My wife and I are big #tea drinkers. We drink a lot of #EarlGrey, #LadyGrey and #LapsangSouchong

We have been buying Twinings largely out of habit, but now they've stopped making Lapsang, and their "Distinctively Smoky" substitute is no replacement at all.

So: first, where else can I get good Lapsang Souchong at a reasonable price (ideally as teabags but loose is acceptable).

And second, are there better/cheaper Earl Greys and Lady Greys available elsewhere?
