I am looking for anti-fatigue mats for my lab. We do primarily organic synthesis with some organometallic work as well, so they need to be solvent-resistant. Flame resistant would be ideal, but seems unlikely. I see a lot for standing desks or warehouses, but fear they will not do well under our conditions. Does anyone have experience? #askfedi #lablife

Does anyone know the specs for the Viton o-rings use in 11/25 plugs for separatory funnels? I'm looking for ID and OD. If you have the exact McMaster-Carr number, that'd be great. Trying to save a few buck by avoiding ChemGlass or a similar reseller. #chemistry #askfedi #lablife

Reality: smell of burnt coffee, empty fire extinguisher, not a single gram of coffee left.

Conclusion:
Science also means knowing when to stop filming, right before the smoke ruins the shot.
But more importantly, it's realizing too late that we sacrificed all the coffee… for that.
