Just rewatched the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven. I really love that movie. Such a great cast. It always gets me thinking about wanting to play a Wild West themed #TTRPG.

I also love the original Seven Samurai (as well as most of Kurosawa's work). And I am always for a samurai RPG. I loved playing all of #L5R back in the day, both CCG and RPG.

I love good cinema that also makes me want to roleplay in that world/genre.

Finding tournament kits for dead games is rough lol. I don't know anyone that plays #L5R anymore! What am I supposed to do with these blisters?

#RiverOfGold, the recent #L5R board game, amuses me because you _think_ it’s a standard “deliver goods” game but it’s _actually_ “build attractions to entertain the rich idiots on a huge lazy river” game.

No idea if the video game will be any good. But hey, it's set in #Rokugan, one of the coolest #fantasy ( #ttrpg ) worlds. Hopefully it runs on the #steamdeck. #L5R #L5rrpg #bucketlist

Share your 5 favorite roleplaying game settings, regardless of system:

1. Forgotten Realms, 1987 Grey Box: Agree with @Tim_Eagon. Pre-Time of Troubles was the best FR. Not too fleshed out.

2. WEG #StarWars, up through the Thrawn Trilogy. Again, not fleshed out, but added some cool stuff.

3. Rokugan, up through Clan War & Return of Fu-Leng. Very cool RPG and CCG setting.

4. Alpha Complex, #Paranoia (WEG).

5. Tie between #CarWars (1980s) and #BattleTech (up through 3067).
