The past 3 years, I've bought #kusmi's tea advent calendar. Last year, for #unsubscribemas, they sent me spam regarding black Friday, not a thing in Europe, so I unsubscribed from their mailing list.
Consequently, I did not remember to buy an advent calendar in 2025, nor the typically €100+ worth of impulse purchases of tea to go along with it. Trying to make black Friday a thing in Europe literally cost Kusmi over €150.
In 2025, I've so far unsubscribed from 4 mailing lists from companies trying to make another consumerism bullshit happening. Last year, I ended up at 60+. Show your displeasure by joining me in making them feel our displeasure in the only way they understand: by punishing them economically. -
