Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense:
We hosted an international meeting to review the Saudi initiative to form a multinational maritime defense coalition.
We discussed the plan to establish a multinational maritime coalition to counter threats in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
14 countries have announced their support for this maritime coalition, and several more are completing the internal approval process to join it.
The coalition aims to protect international sea lanes and counter threats to global shipping and trade.
It's kinda pathetic that the "mighty" KSA is desperately begging for help to stop the poorest country in the region, that has been under one of the most brutal sanctions in modern history.
