Secret Garden
(2010 - Viki, 20 1:05 eps)We suffer through another kor-ercive relationship with a tsundere ML. Back then, it topped the ratings, caused a "Hyun Bin Syndrome" & won several awards. I can see why it had the response when looking at the last 4 eps.
FL's acting & martial arts skills are wonderful to watch. Although I disliked ML's character, his acting was great. Side characters were well done.
Some insightful & funny lines, & interesting literary references, but the story overall is trope-filled. The characters are shallow, but the body-swapping acting is funny. We get to see Lee Jong Suk in his 2nd drama role. There is a gay character not played for humor - remarkable for the time. The 2 MLs learn a lot of life lessons - but honestly, they were both so selfish & narcissistic to start with that it takes 16 eps. before we see progress.
