  1. Winnie-the-Pooh: The Graphic Novel | Comic Review

I’ve never been a big Winnie-the-Pooh guy. It was never something that I got into as a kid beyond seeing some videos and generally know who the characters were. I decided to give Winnie-the-Pooh: The Graphic Novel a chance just to learn more about what’s going on with that pantless guy.

Thank you Netgalley and Ten Speed Press for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

This is obviously an adaptation from Kevan Chandler and Joe Sutphin of the classic A. A. Milne story. Christopher Robin and his friends Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, and Roo.

The star of the show is obviously Pooh Bear doing Pooh Bear things, and it’s very cute. The one thing that I knew about Pooh going into this is that he’s a bear that loves honey. And, let me tell you, this book covers Pooh’s love of honey.

The illustrations in this book are great, and they really add to the story. Pooh looks as approachable as ever, and that’s all you could really ask for in a book like this for kids.

If you or your kids like Winnie-the-Pooh, then you should pick up this book. It’ll be right up your alley.
