I've always been interested in the narrative element of human objects, evidence of human existence. I love the bronze sculptures of public vandalism by #KeithCoventry if you have seen them.
In the past I have taken photos of bins ( big bins, litter bins, and so on). They have a presence and they imply humanity. They show an existence of a civilisation.
When I started my #Dollshouse photos, I intended to include figures - dolls - in them. But doll house dolls are very expensive and generally look rubbish. So I decided to put that idea aside.
Then I realised that the dolls were never necessary. The objects themselves imply human intervention, human actions, human decisions. And I think my photos work a lot better without dolls being in them.
This photo is called Home of the Future and it is about the connection between certain #tech companies and the #WeaponsIndustry and links to a certain country in particular.
It is available as a limited edition print.
