I never thought I'd see the day where I’d be sitting in a hearing, hearing about a 200% property tax increase in Kaufman County. That’s not a typo. That’s not a misunderstanding. That’s our new reality.This isn’t just about taxes. It’s about the erosion of the American dream. The one where owning your home meant stability, pride, and a future you could build on. Now? It feels more like you're renting from the government with no lease agreement, just an ever-growing bill.
