South Korea announces "K-LEO" space strategy to develop/deploy a low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications network by 2035.
The project—aka the “Korean version of Starlink”, will deploy hundreds of mass-produced, dual-use communication satellites. Hanwha Group manages the entire supply chain needed to manufacture and launch the constellation, and plans call for options to deploy between 128 and 512 satellites.
