Just discovered that the #Wachowskis who directed the #Matrix series (pre & post transition) also directed #JupiterRising which I like despite the dismal reviews it has gotten.
The story is implausible, the acting often terrible but the CGI is great & the action scenes are entertaining which gets a rating of 6 out of 10 from me.

Paradise is in every way a better movie than Jupiter Rising. It has a similar premise. Essentially it's a vampire story. But Paradise is a chilling extension of neoliberal capitalism, into an age of VC-funded or corporate run biohacking, that allows a parasitic ruling class to literally suck workers for years of life, and live for centuries.
