Bah, finished the absolutely intriguing “On Hell” by #JohannaHedva, found out there was a website made to go with it that apparently is essential to the book, then immediately find out the website is no longer. :ablobcatcry:

I've been humming and hawing about whether to include Your Love Is Not Good by #JohannaHedva in my top books of 2023 list, but a couple weeks after finishing it, I feel like the fact that I'm still torn about it means that it was a good book, regardless of whether I loved it or hated it. And I think that's the intended feeling, given that a central theme is what good art is. A brief review I read said "this book feels like drowning", and that is entirely accurate. #bookstodon
