“Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman, No. 5” (https://youtu.be/3REl_Ir3okg?si=5jrl_o5CyVN7QhrL) was written in 1993 and was originally the final portion of the work. It is dedicated to the Aspen Music Festival and School, the Juilliard School, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, etc. boardmember Joan Harris. The version I selected was conducted by Marin Alsop, subject of “Fanfare…, No. 1”’s dedication (sorry no video💔)
