Years ago, when I was studying goldsmithing in college, one of the profs stole a design from one of her students and put it into production in her own jewellery studio. I don’t think anything was ever done about it. What a shitty thing for her to have done. She could’ve bought the design from the student and given them a nice boost to their career, but no, she did the shitty thing. I never bothered finishing my metalsmithing program. Was really cool seeing the security in the jeweler's building. All the fortified doors have sensors near the top, in case the tenant wants a scheduled walk-by. The woman working next door finished her phone call in the hall, but wouldn't go into her business until I left the hall. My jeweler showed me a stack of trays of 18k that he doesn't have time to make the online listings for (me, drooling).
