He’s not setting up a fort or a fence. A station for the preaching the gospel. And he hopes it would suppress slavery. Yet I keep hearing people say that missionaries were all about killing.

Andrew B. Davidson, Scottish minister & professor, says the NT doesn’t regulate slavery. But principles, such as “no slave or free”, the worth of every soul, etc., brought emancipation.
Some may want Christianity to bring about “revolutionary changes.” But who could blame them for thinking we side with injustice, if we don’t stress (or even agree with) our own compassionate principles?
How can you affirm the worth of another today?
