    The main reason for this tunnel are the #Jarrie and #Point-de-Claix chemical plant sites. The tunnel as dug is not enough to evacuate the entire #Romanche river in spring (when it's at it's highest levels), but gives enough leeway to have three days to evacuate those sites of chemicals before a burst dam could do damage. The Point-de-Claix site was recently in the news as #Arkema is leaving it behind, the Jarrie site has railroad-style warning lights for "Gaz Toxique" (toxic gases). Scary.

    here we go again. Je sais pas si vous êtes déjà allé dans le #Trieve depuis #Grenoble en passant par la douce gare de #Jarrie-Vizille en #train mais c'est beau! la preuve en image: youtube.com/watch?v=FYb-8LhpN7
    Et comme tout le monde sait, des trains y'en à de moins en moins, sont tous remplacé par de rares bus. Pour inverser la tendance y'a une #pétition qui tourne et il est encore temps de la signer change.org/p/pour-le-d%C3%A9ve
