Hello RC Social,

I'm an often conflicted catholic, a thousand flowers bloom type who prefers the #latinmass but goes to #novusordo without a fight.

Strive for the theological virtues of #faith, #hope, and #charity with a temporal emphasis on charity.

I do have a #jansenist streak, but hey, he who cast the first stone...

I am an #Augustinian at heart - his homily on the Gospel of St John is my all time favorite. To reflect the good, true, and beautiful, no matter how little...that is the goal...of course I am at the very bottom and rely on the reflection of reflections...

We are all created in the image and likeness of God. Faith requires fidelity and to those who are going through #thedarknightofthesoul I offer my prayers.

God forgives but tells us to sin no more. We are human...as St Augustine says in one of my favorite prayers: ""If Thou strikest, we cry out for mercy; if Thou sparest, we again provoke Thee to strike."
