So honestly, I'm not sure about finishing #Janoiry2026 .
I convinced myself that I have to weave the remaining prompts into the rest of the story I've made, and the one I have in mind doesn't fit the remaining prompts.
My entry for "Charm" has no apparent connection to the other five that I made, but whatever.
I'm just not in the mood to sit with my iPad or at my Huion screen and hash out anything for "Crooked", "Stain", "Reckoning", or "Last Kiss".

Following Spark E.'s eavesdropping at the keyhole (prompt 5), he wanders into an alley. An old friend, from the Bureau, catches up to him, just after he takes his anger out on the brick alley wall.
The TEMPTATION to seek revenge is strong, but Special Agent Hamill MacLehan urges him to let the Bureau handle the case.

I started this trying out a painterly style. It was fun, but I eventually scrapped that version and fell back on my old methods, using vector lines for the character, raster layers for the other layers, a pattern brush for the bricks, and a flowing water brush for the raindrops.
