I have done a crime* and obtained some cuttings from neighbours’ convolvulus, jacaranda and agapanthus for my Proper Purple Plant Survey.
* Not really, they were all on nature strips.

I’ve been scouring the neighbourhood trying to find both jacaranda and agapanthus flowers in the same field of view to compare their colours, and FINALLY. Oversaturated and enhanced the pic to test my theory that they’re the same hue, and NO they are not. Agapanthus is bluer, jacaranda is purpler. #jacaranda #agapanthus #plants #flowers #florespondence #Jacaranuary
